What is drill-less dentistry?:
We use kinetic cavity preparation with air abrasion for decay removal, therefore it is possible to have small cavities prepared and restored without administering anesthetic or usins a traditional dental drill. Air abrasion is a high-pressure stream of extremely fine powder that blasts away stains, decay, and small worn fillings. Air abrasion only removes a very minimal amount of tooth structure compared to a traditional drill. All of the advantages of kinetic cavity preparation make it a perfect option for children's dental work.
What is an intraoral camera?:
An intraoral camera has a small pen-size camera connected to a TV screen. Images can be saved and even enlarged for a better view. It is also able to reach areas that may difficult to see during an exam.
The intraoral camera is an educational tool that can show the conditions present in your mouth. It can also provide a better understanding of your treatment plan.
